Thanks for an amazing year 💜
Celebrating 2024 Milestones & Looking Ahead to an Even Bigger 2025 💜
Happy New Year 🥳 As we step into 2025, we’re reflecting on everything we accomplished together last year—and what a year it was. 2024 was filled with milestones, growth, and bold steps forward.
✅ Powered 2.6 million pre-saves for artists
✅ 10 million page visits generated across Symphony-powered websites
✅ Over $20,000 paid out in referral commissions
✅ 18,000+ hours saved for creators using Symphony tools
From groundbreaking feature launches and major partnerships to the inspiring artists who trusted us with their stories and campaigns, every win last year has been powered by YOU—the creatives and community that make Symphony what it is.
Before we dive into all the exciting things ahead for 2025, we wanted to reflect on the moments that defined 2024 together.
January: 1 Million Pre-Saves & CD Baby Partnership 🎉
We started the year by hitting a major milestone: over 1 million pre-saves powered by Symphony. This achievement is a testament to the growing community of artists who trust us to amplify their releases and connect with fans like never before.
We also announced our official partnership with CD Baby, opening the door for their entire user base to access Symphony’s tools and resources. Together, we’re making it easier for creators everywhere to succeed.
Feb + March: Grammy House & SXSW 🏆
Education and connection took center stage in February as we became official partners of Grammy House.
Our CEO, Megh, took the stage at a Grammy House event, sharing invaluable insights about the intersection of tech, marketing, and artistry. It was a proud moment for the Symphony team and a reminder of why we do what we do.
Our co-founder, Chuka, also made waves at SXSW, diving into AI in music marketing. From automating campaigns to delivering smarter targeting, the conversation highlighted how Symphony is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for artists.
April: Reinventing Artist Websites 🌐
This month, we completely reimagined our Website tool, delivering a fully customizable experience designed with artists in mind. From themes and custom fonts to Playlist Pages and advanced dashboards, artists now have more flexibility and control over their online presence than ever before.
A standout addition was the Data Collector, a fully customizable tool designed to help artists own their audience data, including names, numbers, and emails.
🤫 Big things are coming! Stay tuned for major updates on the Data Collector this quarter — it’s about to change the game for you.
May: Realtime Releases Transformed Pre-Saves 🌎
The way fans experience music changed forever with the launch of Realtime Releases, a feature that ensures fans can hear your music the moment it drops in every timezone.
By integrating global timezone tracking into our Website tool, we’ve made pre-saves smarter, ensuring no fan gets left behind—no matter where they’re streaming from.
June + July: The Start of Symphony Summer ☀️
We kicked off Symphony Summer, a season packed with new features, inspiring stories, and creative opportunities for our community.
🎙️ Symphony Soundbites launched as a new series dedicated to spotlighting the voices and stories of artists in our community, bringing us closer to the ground and sharing authentic artist journeys. The first episode featured an in-depth interview with MoRuff, setting the stage for more powerful conversations with the creatives we support.
We took things up a notch with the release of our Playlist Growth Playbook, a new strategy empowering artists to maximize ad spend by driving fans to playlists instead of single tracks—boosting streams, playlist followers, and overall engagement across platforms.
All year long, Cash Cobain tapped into Symphony to run campaigns for every drop, and we were honored to be part of his journey as he continued making waves. His incredible momentum was recognized when he was named a 2024 XXL Freshman, marking a major moment in his career.
🤝 We also teamed up with Downtown Music, expanding our partnerships to give artists even more tools to grow.
August: Forever Saves In Action 🥊
The song of the summer, "Nasty" by Tinashe, made waves across the industry, with Symphony’s tools playing a key role in its marketing success. Tinashe used Forever Saves to engage superfans ahead of the release, building excitement and connection with her audience—even before the final track was locked in. The campaign was so impactful that MusicAlly spotlighted it for its innovative approach to fan engagement.
We also introduced the Boost Instagram Profile Visits playbook, designed to help creators expand their audience by driving active profile discovery and follower growth. By focusing on deeper engagement—like profile visits, post interactions, and link-in-bio clicks—this tool helped artists build stronger, lasting connections with their fanbase.
September: A New Era for Events & Tours 🎟️
This month marked the debut of our Event & Tour Pages, a game-changing update for artists. These pages are free, easy to set up, and optimized for marketing success.
From customizable event pages to tools that help you collect fan emails and grow your audience, this update goes beyond streams and followers—empowering artists to turn fan engagement into real business growth.
October + November: Game Changing Wins 💸
We gave our Referral Program a revamp, making it easier than ever for creators to earn passive income while sharing Symphony.
✅ Refer a friend and they’ll get 30 free days of Symphony Pro.
✅ You’ll earn $10/month for every friend who signs up—that’s 50% of their subscription—just for sharing a tool you already love.
Just this year we paid out $20,000 in referral commissions, celebrating the incredible community members who continue to build alongside us.
Meanwhile, Symphony University continued to inspire with an incredible session featuring DJ Tay James, Justin Bieber’s tour manager, on how to sustain a long career in music.
