The Human Infrastructure Behind Artists & Teams
Symphony University Ep 15 ft Kei Henderson, Grammy Award–winning executive and co-founder of Third & Hayden
What the Spotlight Doesn’t Show 🔦
Every successful artist has a story the world sees but what most people never see is the infrastructure: the coaching, care, and guidance holding everything together.
That’s where Kei Henderson has built her career.
Before founding labels and developing artists, Kei sharpened her taste through early work in editorial and fashion at Complex Media and 10.Deep, collaborating with artists like Future, Migos, and Trinidad James, and brands including Timberland.
Kei played a central role in shaping 21 Savage’s early career as his manager, guiding his rise from Atlanta’s underground to Grammy-winning success by building the structure and support behind the scenes.
Her work didn’t stop there, it was just the beginning: she went on to co-found SinceThe80’s / Motown, where she refined her philosophy of artist development, and later launched Third & Hayden, an artist-aligned label rooted in wellness, equity, and long-term creative freedom. Across rap, R&B, and folk-inspired music, she’s supported artists like Ben Reilly, Buddy, Key!, Zyah Belle, and Annahstasia — proving that sustainable success starts with the people and processes behind the music.
Join us on Wednesday, February 18th at 1:00 PM EST for an exclusive Symphony University session: The Human Infrastructure: The Work Behind Artists & Teams as Kei opens up her playbook for building artists and the teams around them — not just for a moment, but for the long run.
